HISTORIC STAR MOTEL, Sedona – Your ideal downtown stay

We had a wonderful time at the Star Motel in Sedona! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk away from downtown, with quick access to restaurants and shops. The rooms were clean and functional, although a bit on the smaller side. Joyce at the front desk made our stay even better with her helpful suggestions about the area. One downside was the occasional noise from the street outside, especially when the outdoor space brought some unexpected visitors late at night.

Star Motel is a great spot for those looking to explore Sedona without breaking the bank. The location is unbeatable, surrounded by shops and attractions, making it easy to park and walk around. However, the rooms can feel a bit dated, and the lack of a traditional front desk may be off-putting to some. While it's affordable and clean, there are definitely some areas that need improvement.

I had an amazing stay at this motel, perfectly situated in the heart of Uptown. The room was clean and cozy with great amenities, making it feel like home. I loved the views in the morning and evenings, truly breathtaking! The staff was very helpful, which added to the overall experience. The only downside was that the bathroom could use a bit of updating, but that didn't take away from the value for money.

This motel has a prime location, just a couple of blocks from the bustling intersection and surrounded by shops and restaurants. While the room was clean and basic, and the self-check-in process was smooth, the lack of amenities and issues with the heater made my stay less than ideal. The lack of ice access was also disappointing, as I had to buy ice from a nearby store. If you're after a simple place to stay, it could work, but I wished for more comfort and features.
